Playoff hero could be shipped off

Remember how incredible it was for the Boston Celtics to surge so far into the postseason last year? They were undoubtedly the story of the playoffs, and Terry Rozier was one of the main reasons why.

Game after game, series after series, it was Rozier who led the way. For the entirety of the 2017-2018 postseason, Rozier put up 16.5 points, 5.7 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game. It was the semifinals against the Philadelphia 76ers where he shined the brightest, averaging 19 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.4 assists while shooting nearly 42 percent from long distance.

Yes, this guy could be on the move.

This was inevitably going to be a problem for the Celtics, having so much young talent mixed in with All Star veterans.

For the Bulls, yes, again, they have Dunn. But, with an opportunity to get a guy like Rozier and see if they can’t find a way to get him more playing time, I say it’d be worth a shot. Rozier is a restricted free agent next summer, so the Bulls could decide what they ultimately wanted to do with he and Dunn at that time.

I like the thought of going after Rozier and potentially playing run-and-gun small ball with LaVine at the three a lot of the time. Maybe that’s a pipe dream. Either way, Rozier’s availability is intriguing.
