Chicago Bulls Rumors: Assessing latest players on trade block
By Ryan Heckman
A trio of Washington Wizards on the block
I don’t know if things could get much worse for the Washington Wizards at this very moment. The most recent news coming from the squad is that of John Wall and his “verbal assault” on head coach Scott Brooks.
Wall was fined for yelling obscenities at his head coach at a recent practice, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Also per Woj, “this group doesn’t like each other.”
That’s not a good sign.
So, not only is Wall up for grabs, but also Bradley Beal. On top of that, Bleacher Report also says that Otto Porter could be one guy on the way out as well. This could be an all-out fire sale.
For the Bulls, the one that makes the most sense when looking at their current roster is Porter. But, I highly doubt Chicago would want to take on the hefty contract of Porter at the moment, especially considering they’d likely find a better player via free agency for that kind of cash.
Wall and Beal are intriguing, though. The Bulls have a point guard in Kris Dunn, but Wall would obviously be an upgrade. Then, with Beal, he is obviously a shooting guard, but could either he or Zach LaVine try sliding to the small forward spot? It’s a long shot, but it would be interesting to say the least.
The bottom line is, these three could be on the block. Should the Bulls take a shot?
