Chicago Bears: Top five plays from win over Lions
Top Play: Allen Robinson’s 36-yard touchdown grab
Scoring early and often has been a huge component in the Bears success this season.
Getting off to a 26-0 lead isn’t expected, but the Bears’s scorching starts to games have taken loads and load of pressure off in several games this season.

That theme continued on Sunday, as the Bears put touchdowns up in their first-four drives. The second one, with less than a minute remaining in the first quarter, was a 36-yard bomb to Allen Robinson.
The play was Robinson’s second grab in his first quarter back, as it was clear that the Bears wanted to get Robinson involved early on.
They get him involved all right. Trubisky launched this ball 36 yards downfield, right into the hands of A-Rob for a touchdown.
The ball was a bit under thrown, but no worries for Robinson, who turned around to make a spectacular catch, falling backwards into the end zone.
We already talked about how crucial Robinson will be for the Bears down the stretch. His threat down the field, as well as in the open field are both huge weapons for the Bears offense, which just gets better-and-better every single week.
Against a better defense next week, Robinson’s production will be even more crucial. Assuming that he’s still 100% healthy, the Bears need to make a decision to center the offense around Robinson, who at his best, is one of the top wide receivers in the entire NFL.
Sunday’s game was just a glimpse of the impact that Allen Robinson can make on a weekly basis. Hopefully, that impact can continue to be felt next week, in what is easily the Bears biggest game of the season, Sunday Night against the Minnesota Vikings at home at Soldier Field.
Robinson was signed to make plays like these, and to put up a number like he did on Sunday. As Trubisky and Robinson continue to build chemistry, the sky is really the limit in terms of the numbers that the dynamic duo can put up at their absolute best.
