Chicago White Sox Rumors: Bryce Harper situation has us confused

With the Chicago White Sox possibly a dark horse for Bryce Harper, multiple reports and social media posts have us confused.
Over the past couple of years, it has been the offseason which many Chicago White Sox fans have looked forward to. The folks at Guaranteed Rate Field have not seen a division title since 2008, and fans are having to live with the realization that their team is attempting to do what their North Side rivals have been able to do over the last couple years — rebuild.

Coming off of a 100-loss season which saw the White Sox finish dead last in the AL Central, Rick Hahn knows he has more work to do. As free agency hits full swing, the White Sox will have to add some talent — preferably in the form of a big splash.
Will they be in the running for Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Manny Machado when it is all said and done? Will they settle for potentially a handful of cheaper, yet effective options instead?
Or, would the White Sox find themselves in the bidding for Washington Nationals superstar outfielder Bryce Harper? The White Sox may end up being more of a dark horse in the race, and should not be counted out.
On Thursday, though, there were a couple of different things which made their way around social media, regarding Harper, that sparked quite the conversation amongst baseball fans. One of them involved the White Sox, and one of them did not. Let’s take a look, and see if we can figure out whether or not Harper has indeed made up his mind.
