These Chicago Bears will get crushed by the Patriots

If you turn the ball over against New England, you will lose
Coming into this season the Patriots had the second-highest turnover differential (+25) in the entire NFL since 2015. The Bears, meanwhile, are 31st at -24.
This season, however, has been a different story for the most part. It is still early in the year, but the Bears currently have a turnover differential of +6, good for second in the NFL. The Patriots, meanwhile, are at +2.
Against the Dolphins, the Bears were even. Kyle Fuller came away with two picks and Eddie Goldman recovered that critical fumble by Kenyan Drake. Three takeaways is typically recipe for success, but when you give it away three times, that changes.
If you turn the ball over against the Patriots multiple times, chances are, you lose the game. Tom Brady does not give it away on the regular. Most Patriots don’t give it away on the regular. Why? They know Bill Belichick doesn’t play that game. A lot of times, if a Patriot skill player fumbles the ball, you won’t see them back on the field for a while. It’s just who Belichick is as a coach.
The Patriots know not to turn the ball over. Rarely do you see Brady make an errant throw. If the Bears turn it over against the Patriots more than once, I don’t give them much of a chance to win this game. Brady and his offense are firing on all cylinders, and typically, handing the ball over to him unexpectedly results in points for the Patriots.
We’re talking about the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. It’s simple. Don’t give him extra possessions — especially in crucial situations.
No red zone turnovers. Secure the ball. Throw it away. Do what you have to do.
That has to be one of the biggest messages from Nagy this week — and I’m confident it will be.
