Chicago Cubs: A perfect offseason blueprint to win in 2019
After a disappointing 2018 season that ended with a loss in the National League Wild Card Game, its time for the Chicago Cubs to head back to the drawing board.
In the matter of a month, the Chicago Cubs went from the team with the best record in the National League to a team searching for answers while watching the remainder of the playoffs at home.

Following a brutal 2-1 loss to the Colorado Rockies in the National League Wild Card Game, the Cubs (and of course, their fans) are left questioning the state of their team.
Are Jed Hoyer and Theo Epstein really doing as great of a job in the front office as before? Is Joe Madden still the best fit to manage this team?
While Hoyer, Theo and Joe are all staying put, not everyone will have the same fate. Rumors are already circulating that a number of players could be on the move, and it’s not even November yet.
Of course the Cubs are going to maintain a win-now mentality. However, the manner in which this mentality is executed is going to be different than in the past.
Simply put, the Cubs have a lot of work to do this offseason. Luckily, I have it all laid out here.
Buckle up, Cubs fans. Changes are coming on the North Side.
