Chicago Bulls: Who is trending up, trending down amidst preseason

The regular season is just days away, and the Chicago Bulls currently have a few players trending in opposite directions.
There is now just one more preseason tilt to go for the Chicago Bulls before they make their regular season debut. Thursday, October 18 it all goes down in Philadelphia as the Bulls take on one of last year’s surprise teams in the 76ers to open the 2018-2019 campaign.

Through four preseason games, we have learned quite a bit about this team. A lot of it has been very positive. Head coach Fred Hoiberg seems to genuinely have a group of guys who have bought into the system and are working their tail off in practice.
That’s a far cry from where Jimmy Butler and the Minnesota Timberwolves are at this very moment — I digress.
The Bulls have a lot to look forward to, even despite heading into the regular season without one of their cornerstones in second-year forward Lauri Markkanen, who will miss up to two months due to an elbow injury.
Evening up their preseason record Wednesday night, the Bulls defeated the Indiana Pacers handedly. It was an impressive victory over one of the better Eastern Conference teams from last year, who figures to be just as good or better this coming season.
In these four games, I have taken much away in regards to whose stock is rising and whose is falling. Let’s go into a bit of detail on four guys in particular, two on each end of the spectrum.
