Chicago Bears Rumors: Why Jordan Howard, Eagles rumor is ludicrous
By Ryan Heckman

Chicago Bears rumors are a funny thing, especially when in regards to the defending Super Bowl champions.
They’re here again. Chicago Bears rumors — and boy, are they hot.
This week, the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles lost oft-injured starting running back Jay Ajayi to a torn ACL. Already, Ajayi had been dealing with a fracture in his back, but the unfortunate knee injury has officially knocked him out for the season.
With many pieces intact from a year ago and having yet to hit the ground running — pun intended — in 2018, the Eagles are reportedly on the hunt for a potential trade suitor to replace Ajayi. We have seen the Buffalo Bills as a team which the Eagles have reached out to, per report, in regards to LeSean McCoy. Wouldn’t that be something.
Even more interesting, is a name which former ESPN NFL insider John Clayton brought up when he went on 94WIP’s “Marks and Reese” show Tuesday to discuss the topic.
Clayton also mentions Chicago RB Jordan Howard as a sleeper to keep an eye on for the #Eagles.

Yep, Jordan Howard. The same guy some folks were talking about trading prior to the 2018 NFL Draft. The same guy people said wasn’t the right running back for the Bears after hiring Matt Nagy to lead the way.
Why would the Bears even think about letting Howard go? Well, my immediate assumption is that Ryan Pace wouldn’t even think about it.
For anybody questioning that fact, I present to my case as to why this rumor is absolutely ludicrous.
