Wide Receiver Kenny Stills

While Dolphins fans have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for DeVante Parker to break out, another receiver has continued to prove he is well-worth targeting when on the field.

Kenny Stills is the deep threat for Miami. Some might call him a one-trick pony, and that’s fine. But, he’s great at that trick.

Stills has the speed to get past any corner on the Bears. That’s primarily because the corners on this defense aren’t the fastest in the league, by any means. But, when the Bears have a pass rush like they’ve had, that doesn’t necessarily matter on most days.

In any event, Stills is one to watch for if quarterback Ryan Tannehill does end up getting some time on occasion. Like the Tampa Bay game with DeSean Jackson, Stills is the Dolphins’ version. He’s not the possession hoarder to constantly have to drape over, but he’s going to be the one attempting to take the top off of the Bears’ defense.

Let’s just put it this way: If Khalil Mack has anything to say about it, Stills won’t get too many targets downfield. And, if that’s the case, the Bears are going to have a much better shot at keeping the Dolphins offense at bay — somewhat of a pun-intended type of scenario there.
