As the 2018-2019 NBA season gets set to kick off, the Chicago Bulls aren’t likely to make serious noise in the East.

The Bulls took a shot to any early hopes of competing for a playoff spot this year when they found out second-year forward Lauri Markkanen sustained an elbow injury in practice. Markkanen will be out between six and eight weeks, which puts a damper on the beginning of the year for Chicago.
Still, there is plenty for fans to look forward to. Making a move to get Jabari Parker certainly gave some fans what they wanted — others, not so much. It was a decision which fans seem split over, but if he plays to his potential and stays healthy, he’ll be an integral part of any potential playoff push.
Pairing Parker with Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and Wendell Carter Jr. could at least lead to some fun basketball for fans to watch. At the very least, they shouldn’t be as unwatchable as they were last season.
If the Bulls want to continue to move forward with a successful rebuild, they could choose to make more moves this season. Last year saw them ship away Nikola Mirotic. Could another deal be in the future for this team? Let’s take a look at a few trades the Bulls should consider.
