The Chicago Bears are in first place in the NFC North, so all is well, right? Not quite. There are some burning questions to be answered.

It wasn’t pretty, but the Chicago Bears came away with a slim victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon. Heading into the game, many fans thought this would be an easy win. Hey, so did fans of the Minnesota Vikings in respect to their game — and look how that turned out.

More from Da Windy City

Fortunately, the Bears pulled it together after starting sluggish on defense and missing an early field goal attempt. It was really the defense that got the Bears’ ship righted in Week 3. Following the second touchdown by Arizona, the Bears defense didn’t allow a single point.

They also came up with three interceptions and a fumble recovery after the David Johnson score.

Khalil Mack was an animal once again, and finished the game with two sacks and a forced fumble, becoming the first player to do that since … himself, back in 2016.

This Bears defense has been truly special, but the offense has some question marks. Going into Week 4, Chicago will face off against a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team fully capable of lighting up the scoreboard.

Veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been superb this season. The Bucs’ options in the passing game have also been phenomenal. The Bears will have their hands full with Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson, Chris Godwin, O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate next week.

But, before we look forward to the matchup against the Bucs, there are some questions needing answers.
