Heading into Week 3, the Chicago Bears face a lowly Arizona Cardinals team. But, they must not underestimate them, especially these particular players.

The Chicago Bears enter Week 3 at 1-1 and look like they certainly have a chance to compete for more than draft positioning this year. The Bears evened up their record Monday night with a win over the Seattle Seahawks which saw the defense sack Russell Wilson five times.

That’s been the story so far — the defense. The trade for All-Pro Khalil Mack has proven to be what is pushing this unit over the top. By now, I’m sure you’ve seen the stat that says Mack has just as many sacks and forced fumbles as the Oakland Raiders overall. Mack’s presence has allowed others to get in on the action as well, however.

It’s been guys like Danny Trevathan and Akiem Hicks who have truly benefited the most. Trevathan is currently the reigning NFC Player of the Week after his eight tackles and two sacks Monday night.

This defense has to be licking their lips over an Arizona Cardinals offense which currently ranks last in the league, averaging just 175 yards per game. Quarterback Sam Bradford has the lowest QBR of his career through two weeks, sitting at 27.6.

So, with this looking like an easy win, how do the Bears take the Cardinals seriously? Well, it starts with the game plan. That game plan should feature four major players on the Cardinals’ roster, who cannot be overlooked.
