Winner: Matt Nagy

The last, and biggest winner of the night is Bears head coach Matt Nagy.

Nagy picked up his first-career win as an NFL head coach in his Soldier Field debut. Nagy did it on national television against the Seattle Seahawks, an impressive feat.

After last weeks melt down, a game that fell right out of the hands of the Bears, Nagy needed this. Last weeks game was primarily put on him, and rightfully so. Nagy clearly took his foot off the gas pedal, slowing down the aggressiveness and ultimately letting up just too much.

Tonight, it was completely different. The offense found a scheme and stuck to it. The defense looked good from start to finish, from top to bottom. Nothing changed from the first-half to the second-half. As a matter of fact, the Bears looked better in the second-half for a change.

The John Fox era was really just one long nightmare. Last Sunday night looked like the start of a other bad dream. Monday night, however, was what we all needed, especially Matt Nagy.

Monday night is the beginning of an era that looks to be filled with promise and potential. Only time will tell what happens from here, but Monday night was huge for Matt Nagy.

The Bears were winners. The defense was a big winner. In a game of winners, theres no doubt in my mind that there was no bigger winner on the field than Bears head coach Matt Nagy.
