If the Chicago Bears want to come away with a victory against the Seattle Seahawks, they’d be wise to exploit these three matchups.

While fans might still be reeling from the loss to the Green Bay Packers, the Chicago Bears have long since shifted their focus to the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks come into Chicago for the Bears home opener, under the lights, on Monday Night Football.

And while Jon Gruden won’t be in the booth calling this one, he will likely have had a huge impact on the game by the time it’s over. That’s because of his inexplicable decision to ship All-Pro Khalil Mack to the Bears a week before the season opener.

As Mack’s performance last week showed, matchups are critical in the NFL. The margin for victory can be incredibly small week to week. As a result, coaches look to exploit areas where they believe they have a distinct advantage.
