Three reasons the Chicago Bears will beat the Green Bay Packers
Khalil Mack
You knew this was coming. Even though Khalil Mack has only been with the team for a week, we can expect a big game from him on Sunday. Helfrich said,
"“When he gets off the bus, he disrupts life.”"
If that doesn’t give you shivers, you don’t have a spine. I’m sure Rodgers will shiver when he goes out on the field and sees Mack staring at him from a few feet away. The last time the Oakland Raiders played the Packers, Mack did have a sack. I’m going to go with a bold prediction of Mack sacking Rodgers twice.
Mack is going to be so pumped up and ready to prove the Raiders were wrong to let him go, that he will make it his personal mission to bring Rodgers to the ground. If the Packers are dumb enough to leave Bryan Bulaga on Mack one-on-one then it’s going to be a long night for Rodgers and the Packers. If they double or triple team Mack, then Leonard Floyd, Akiem Hicks and Eddie Goldman will reap the benefits. Either way, Mack is going to have a huge impact on this game.
I also believe that it will surprise many fans and analysts how much Mack plays on Sunday. I’ve seen some say that Mack will only play on third downs. I beg to differ. He’s been a full participant in practice and is a veteran who knows what it takes to be prepared for a game. Did I also mention that he’s a generational pass rusher? Well, he is and guys like that are freaks of nature that can be ready to produce at a moments notice.
