Three reasons the Chicago Bears will beat the Green Bay Packers
The Chicago Bears will pull off a big-time upset against the Green Bay Packers. Here are three reasons why it will happen.
On Sunday, the Chicago Bears will face off with their hated rivals at Lambeau Field. The Green Bay Packers have had a lot of success against the Bears in recent memory. However, these 2018 Bears are different. They are young, hungry and don’t care about what’s happened recently. Wide receiver Anthony Miller eluded to that when he said, ”
"“I think there’s a lot of people sleeping on us. The history of this team hasn’t been what we wanted it to be, so we’re about to re-write it. This is the beginning of … a new era in Chicago.”"
It’s not going to be easy. Nobody said it would be. The Packers still have Aaron Rodgers, who is arguably the best quarterback in football. The Bears have a team oozing with potential, but still have a lot of questions that need to be answered.
At the same time, some of those question marks will help the Bears beat the Packers on Sunday night. It’s going to be a raucous environment, since it’s the Packers’ 100th home opener. That’s okay, though. I remember the Bears going up to Lambeau in 2015 for a Thanksgiving night game, which was the night Brett Favre was honored. Let’s see what factors will allow the Bears to pull off the upset and start the season 1-0.
