Get Leonard Floyd in 1-on-1 situations

We have seen Leonard Floyd absolutely wreck the Packers on a couple of occasions. We know what he is capable of doing with an open lane. Because of the fact that the Bears defense now boasts an All-Pro like Khalil Mack, Floyd has to be licking his chops.

Don’t forget the Packers will also have to try and contain Akiem Hicks, who led the Bears with 8.5 sacks last season. This is going to be a monstrous pass rush for Green Bay to try and deal with. It’s going to be a “pick your poison” type of decision for offenses going against this bunch.

In three games against the Packers, Floyd has laid some hits on Aaron Rodgers. In that trio of games, he has accumulated 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble and a touchdown off of that forced fumble.

It is going to be imperative for Floyd to take advantage of the 1-on-1 situations he will likely face Sunday night. He is quicker, faster and more mobile than any offensive tackle he goes up against. If he plays to the potential Bears fans have seen in the past, Floyd could take a gigantic leap in his third season, starting in Green Bay.
