It’s about that time, folks. The Chicago Bears. The Green Bay Packers. Sunday Night Football. Opening weekend of the 2018 NFL Season. The Packers are celebrating their 100th season in franchise history, and the Bears are coming in to spoil the mood.

It has taken us eight months to get to this point. A plethora of changes have been made around Halas Hall, starting with the firing of John Fox and hiring of Matt Nagy, among other staff decisions. Nagy has breathed life into this franchise and drastically changed the culture.
General manager Ryan Pace has shown that he isn’t afraid to make moves, spend money and get his guys. Free agency was a blast, quite frankly, and I was ready for the season to start right then and there. Then came the draft, and the Bears added even more talent with guys like Roquan Smith, Anthony Miller and others.
Just this last weekend, the football world was stunned when the Bears landed former Oakland Raiders pass rusher Khalil Mack in an enormous blockbuster trade between the two clubs. The final piece is in place. It’s almost that time.
So, how do the Bears go into Lambeau and come away victorious? It’s not going to be easy, but there are five specific keys I see playing into a win on Sunday night.
