Aaron Rodgers only throws one touchdown

Last year, Aaron Rodgers only played one game against the Bears before missing significant time due to injury. But, boy oh boy, did he show out. Rodgers came out and fired four touchdowns in a convincing 35-10 victory over the Bears — and that was only on 18 completions.

2016 was an interesting pair of games between these teams. Rodgers and the Packers came away with both victories, although Rodgers’ performances were very different. In the first matchup, he tossed three touchdowns. In the second? Zero.

The last time Rodgers threw exactly one touchdown in a game was the Bears’ thrilling Thanksgiving victory over the Packers back in 2015. The Bears won that game 17-13.

In this matchup, I predict Rodgers to only throw for one score. With that said, I also predict the Packers to score 20 points or less in this one. I don’t think they will be able to put up more than two touchdowns on this Bears defense, thus I only have Rodgers accounting for one.

Rodgers will have a ferocious pass rush in his face all night long, and his offensive line is not 100 percent either. This is not a recipe Rodgers would write up in an ideal world, but it’s the one he will have to live with.
