Chicago Bears: 10 bold predictions following Khalil Mack trade

Now that the Chicago Bears have Khalil Mack in the fold, it’s time for some bold predictions that may not end up being so bold after all.
Over the weekend, the Chicago Bears sent shockwaves throughout the entire NFL after acquiring former Oakland Raiders pass rusher Khalil Mack. Giving up multiple first-round picks to land a player of Mack’s caliber certainly got people talking, but the majority of folks agree: This was a move that will have an enormous impact on many teams, not just the Bears.

Ryan Pace has done an incredible job with this franchise over the offseason. Pace has taken a bottom-10 roster and turned it into a surprising Cinderella-type favorite for 2018.
Adding players like Allen Robinson, Trey Burton and Taylor Gabriel on Day 1 of free agency this year was only the beginning. Pace followed that up with even more talent acquired via the 2018 NFL Draft.
Now, the Bears have landed the NFL’s premier pass rusher in Mack. He joins a defense which is already a top-10 unit in the league. Just imagine all of the possibilities.
2018 will be a special year for these Bears. It is going to be a season which shocks the football world. Just how bold am I willing to go with this type of talk, though?
