Final Nall in the coffin?

If Ryan Nall entered the game on the roster bubble, he may have just put himself on the ride side of it with his performance last night.

The running back out of Oregon State was signed as an in drafted free agent and so the odds of him making the club were a longshot, to begin with. For a UFA to make the final cut, they had to have had a heck of a training camp.

Well, that’s exactly what Nall did, but particularly in the game against the Bills. Nall finished the night with four carries for 74 yards and a touchdown. He also caught a pass out of the backfield.

However, it was his versatility last night that may have earned him a roster spot. Nagy featured Nall in the fullback position quite a bit — something we haven’t seen him do in a game yet.

as I mentioned earlier, a player can increase his value to the team exponentially by expanding their versatility. In this case, Nall has done just that by showing he can play a secondary position on offense. Now if he can also contribute on special teams, he’ll be a lock to make the roster.
