The Bears pulled back to .500 with Saturday’s 27-20 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, a game in which Bears head coach Matt Nagy decided to sit all of the Bears starters.
While the decision was questioned heavily among fans, the Bears players who did play looked really good, shining against the Chiefs first team players.
Many players in competition for final roster spots came through with big showings, pulling ahead of others before next weeks preseason finale.
Unfortunately, as a result of these good showings, other players fell behind, likely costing them a roster spot in the process. Perhaps the toughest part of the NFL preseason is the end. After a long summer of practice, preparation, and preseason games, the Bears will be left with a few tough decisions when it comes to trimming the roster down to 53.
Here are three players who look to be on the wrong side of the Bears final cuts.
