V. Jabari Parker will emerge as an Eastern Conference All-Star

For Chicago native, Jabari Parker, this upcoming season presents itself as an opportunity to prove that he can be the elite player that Milwaukee saw he would become when they took him with the 2nd pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. Parker now has the chance to be the best player for the very team that fueled his love for the game of basketball.

But more importantly, this gives Parker the chance to reconnect with his community and be better equipped and able to give back and making positive changes for the people growing up in the same conditions that he grew up in.

Having this opportunity could give him the motivation and energy to perform at his highest level in a few years, or even at the highest level he will ever be capable of. This should lead to him becoming an All-Star in a very depleted Eastern conference.

Just a year ago, Parker came extremely close to capturing his first All-Star nod, averaging 20.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists before his injury as the second option in Milwaukee. With a fresh start with his new team, the sky is the limit for the 23 year old hometown kid.
