All of the sudden, the Chicago Bears are dealing with several injuries. How concerned should we be over each one of them?

Following the Chicago Bears’ third preseason game against the Denver Broncos, fans start to get a bit antsy. We begin to wonder who will make those final spots on the 53-man roster. We start fantasizing about every little positive outcome from the first preseason games and what it could mean for the regular season.

We almost want the rest of the preseason to be skipped, in a way, because of the excitement that takes over. There were a lot of great things we saw from the Bears on Saturday in Denver. The offense certainly looks like it will be exciting — a nice change in Chicago. Trey Burton appeared to be a true breakout candidate for how much Mitch Trubisky looked his way.

With all of the positives and all of the anxiety for Week 1 to get here, we must also take a step back and realize that this team still needs time. They need time to continue to gel as an offense — a brand-new offense with several new faces. They need time to figure out the right guys for those last few spots on the team.

They also need time to heal and recover.

Monday, there were a few important nuggets that came to light about the Bears’ recent dose of the injury bug. Several key names are dealing with injuries of all varieties — some serious, some not so serious.

As fans, anytime we’re this close to the regular season and we see injury news, we get nervous. But, how nervous should we be about the current group which is banged up? I try and go through the facts and give you an idea of just how concerned we all should be at the moment.
