Bold Prediction Number 2

Career-high 50 points in a game

You want to talk bold? Let’s get bold. Not only will LaVine drop 50 points in a game this year, but he will do it against his former team. Will he pull it off at the United Center or on the road at Target Center in Minneapolis?

I don’t know. That’s where I stop. Who do you think I am, Miss Cleo?

Back to the point at hand. The Bulls play the Timberwolves twice this coming season, as per usual. The first comes on Saturday, November 24th in Minneapolis. Just about a month later, they square off again in Chicago on the day after Christmas.

Remember just a minute ago when you read the line, “…one 35-point outing (more on that later)?”

Guess where that season-high 35 points was scored last season? LaVine poured in his 35 points on Friday, February 9th at home. Who was it against? Why, it was against his former team of course — not to mention the Bulls took home a close 114-113 victory.

Back on December 23, 2016 LaVine gave his former Target Center crowd quite the show against the Sacramento Kings. LaVine torched the Kings for 40 points that night, which is still a career-high. In 2018-2019, though, the expectations are much higher for him.

LaVine scores 50 points against the Timberwolves this upcoming season. Book it.
