Quarterbacks

When it comes to the quarterback position, more often than not, you see teams carrying just two of them these days. In order to make room for additional talent, this has seemed to be a common thread in the league recently. With that said, the two quarterbacks kept should be the most obvious answer of all roster predictions.

Starter: Mitch Trubisky

Trubisky has reportedly had an up-and-down training camp, but that’s understandable. Learning a brand new offense while being surrounded with almost all new weapons, aside from the back field, is a tall task. His comfort will only continue to grow as we near the regular season.

Backup: Chase Daniel

Some have said that Daniel looked to be the most comfortable and in-command of the quarterbacks over the course of training camp. That would be no surprise, since he has had experience working with Matt Nagy in the past. Daniel should prove to be a very valuable backup fo this team, for several reasons.

Practice Squad candidate: Tyler Bray

Like I said, the Bears won’t likely keep three quarterbacks. In this case, unless Bray is claimed off waivers by another team to be their primary backup, he is likely a candidate to join the Bears’ practice squad.
