Chicago Bears 53-Man Roster Projection: Post-training camp edition
By Ryan Heckman
Now that the Chicago Bears are officially done with training camp, we take a look at our latest projection of the 53-man roster.
Chicago Bears fans, we are now less than a month away from kicking off the 2018 NFL season at Lambeau. With just under four weeks to go, however, the team itself has a long ways to go. Sure, training camp has completed, but the Bears still have three preseason games to play and much to do with the personnel.

Between now and September 9th, the Bears need to cut their roster down from 90 players to the standard 53. Throughout training camp, there have definitely been some surprises. A few key players have stepped up and look like they could earn a spot on the roster.
Likewise, there are a handful of players who look like they have played themselves off the roster because of a less-than-stellar training camp, or simply due to their preseason play. As fans who have watched the first couple of preseason games, I’m sure we can pinpoint a couple of those players fairly easily.
For the coaching staff, this is of course one of the hardest times of year. Narrowing the talent in the NFL can be tricky, but that’s exactly what I attempt to do here. Now that training camp is finished, here is my projection for what the Bears’ final 53-man roster shapes up to be.
