The Bulls likely won’t be a championship contender this season (and that’s putting it nicely) but there is still a possibility of making the postseason. Whether or not you’re a fan who wants to see the team finish with yet another lottery pick, the playoffs could wind up being a realistic scenario.
With new additions this offseason like Jabari Parker via free agency and Wendell Carter Jr. via the draft, the Bulls’ core is now a bit more impressive than it once was a year ago. Throw in Lauri Markkanen, a returning Zach LaVine along with Kris Dunn, and your potential starting five is nothing to sneeze at.
I am fully confident that if the Bulls want to make the playoffs a reality, they have a very good chance. After all, the Eastern Conference has never been weaker now that LeBron James is a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.
For the Bulls to have a shot at the postseason, the last month or so of their schedule will be crucial. Let’s take a look at some of the games Chicago will be finishing out the season with, which could largely impact their playoff hopes.
