Chicago Bulls: Most anticipated aspects of the 2018-19 season schedule
By Jason Parini
Halloween week homestand, October 29 – November 3
Halloween will be a fun time to be in Chicago, and we’re not just talking about the usual festivities of orange beer and questionable decisions. Well, maybe the beer will be necessary, as three Western Conference playoff contenders head to the west side of Chicago that week.
The Bulls come home for four games during the week of Halloween (bonus: the Blackhawks are at home against Edmonton the day before the homestand begins for anyone who bleeds red in another Chicago way). The Bulls kick off the homestand with a matchup against the Splash Brothers and the defending champion Golden State Warriors on Monday, November 29 for their only tilt at the United Center.
The Bulls then have an off-day before facing off against Isaiah Thomas, Michael Porter, Jr., and the Denver Nuggets.
Following there contest against the Nuggets, division rival Indiana Pacers head into town for a Friday night showdown. Though certainly not a pushover by any means, this could be the most winnable game of the homestand.
The Bulls will then have to rest quickly that night as they’ll head back to the United Center the next day. In the final game before jetting out of town, the Bulls take on James Harden, Chris Paul, and Carmelo Anthony on Saturday night.
