Kyle Fuller

The last player to stand out against the Bengals was corner Kyle Fuller, who had a pick-six off of Dalton. A great pass rush by Floyd helped set it up, but it was good to see Fuller securely catch the football for an interception. While he had 17 pass deflections last season, Fuller only had two interceptions. So, if Fuller is going to start to intercept some of these deflections, then he will certainly become one of the league’s elite quarterbacks.

Fuller intercepted Dalton and took it 46-yards to the house to tie the game. He showed great instincts on the return and broke for the ball nicely, as well.

When Fuller was having success last season, the question a lot of fans and reporters had was “is Fuller just playing this way because he’s looking to get a big contract in free agency?” Well, it didn’t stop the Green Bay Packers from offering him a 4-year, $56 million contract. Fortunately, Fuller was a restricted free agent and general manager Ryan Pace decided to match the offer sheet.

Fuller is entering his fourth season with Fangio as his defensive coordinator and is ready to take the leap. Fuller was rated the 10th best cornerback on Bleacher Report’s NFL1000. This season, Fuller is set to become a top-five corner that regularly shuts down the opponent’s best wide receiver. Get ready for the Kyle Fuller show in 2018, folks.
