With the NFL preseason officially underway the Chicago Bears are looking to see who has the potential to stand out. Three Bears’ players can separate themselves from the rest with more preseason reps.

The Chicago Bears revealed little about how they will play as a team in the annual Hall of Fame game last week. The majority of the Bears’ starters were suited up, however, if any of them broke a sweat while standing on the sideline it would have been viewed as a shocker. As expected, Matt Nagy played things very close to the vest.

Welcome to Matt Nagy’s Bears. Nagy, a rookie head coach treated his team the same way as the veteran coaches would have in the annual preseason game that is more about the stars who were newly enshrined in the NFL Hall of Fame. In fact, the Bears used Brian Urlacher’s induction as a team bonding opportunity.

Nevertheless, there were players who needed preseason reps so that the Bears and Bears fans alike can get a glimpse of what may take place on football Sundays.

Second-year quarterback Mitch Trubisky is among the Bears’ players who could use some considerable time on the field as he still has more to prove. Because he is the starting quarterback, Trubisky will not be under center much. The same should not be said for the two rookies and veteran player who need all of the preseason reps they can get.
