No need to fret — new(er) faces can make for an exciting new team
So yes, the White Sox have not had the best season — we all know this. On the bright side, though, there could be some new, talented players coming into the club that can shake up the lineup for the better.
For example, Eloy Jimenez, who currently plays for the Charlotte Knights as an outfielder, is a perfect fit for the White Sox right now. There has been a lot of talk about bringing him up to the White Sox team, and this move would undoubtedly aid in the Sox’s effort to rebuild this team to where it once was.
Jimenez has a big bat for the Barons, and I feel confident saying that he would continue to do this for the White Sox. The Sox could definitely use another big hitter, and it certainly would not hurt to have Jimenez in the outfield.
In addition to Jimenez being extremely valuable, there is another player already on the roster that will also prove to be more than worthwhile, in my opinion.
A future ace? I sure think so. Carlos Rodón could be the pitcher that the Sox need. Although he has not played too much this year due to injury, he was delivered some pretty impressive games for the Sox.
If Rodón stays healthy and continues to play at this level, there is no doubt in my mind that the Sox would be set up much better having him as an ace.
Lastly, it’s important that we stay positive for one another.
