Where Aaron Donald fits:

Aaron Donald is one of, if not the best defensive player in the NFL. Donald won’t need to ‘fit’ anywhere. The Bears will need to make space for him.

The Bears don’t even really have a need at defensive tackle. As of Tuesday, Eddie Goldman is listed as the starting nose tackle, surrounded by Akiem Hicks and Jonathan Bullard at the ends. While it doesn’t exactly jump out on paper (with the exception of Hicks), the Bears have a pretty solid defensive tackle.

But if given the opportunity, the Bears just cannot pass up a chance to trade for Donald. In 2017, Donald was the AP Defensive Player of the Year, recording 11 sacks, 32 tackles and five forced-fumbles.

Donald is the most dominant tackle in the NFL, and it isn’t even close.

If Donald somehow found his way to Chicago, the Bears would easily have the best front-three in the league. With Donald and Hicks, two Pro Bowl-Caliber players headlining the trio, the Bears front would be a force to be reckoned with.

However, it won’t be cheap. Lets take a look at what the Bears must sacrifice for Donald’s services.
