Chicago Bears Rumors: Potential trade packages for Khalil Mack
By Ryan Heckman
Trade Package No. 2
This is the one deal which would hurt to see happen the most. But, if you don’t give up a first-round pick, chances are you will have to give up a good player to get one in return. The Raiders’ secondary was abysmal a year ago, and they could use all the help they can get in that department.
Trade package number two sees the Bears sending away safety Adrian Amos, coupled with a pair of draft picks — a second-rounder and fourth-rounder.
It would be devastating to watch Amos leave Chicago. Talk about one of the most disrespected and overlooked players by fans and media recently, Amos is the real deal. He’s always in the right place at the right time. He knows how to deliver a blow and man his gap. As the last line of defense, Amos does his job.
What would be just as devastating as losing Amos is what Mack would do to opposing quarterbacks like Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins and Matthew Stafford. The Bears could have one of the top pass rush trios in the NFL with he, Floyd and Hicks. So, would it be hard to see Amos go? Of course. Would it be worth it? Absolutely.
