The Strongest Players in the Rebuild

I do believe that Anderson, Rodón, Abreu, and Moncada are the strongest pieces right now to the Chicago White Sox organization during these rebuilding seasons.

Anderson, Abreu, and Moncada all are strong components to making the White Sox offense and defense what it is. Unfortunately, they do not have too much back up currently to make the team as competitive as it needs to be in order to be a playoff contender.

Although the batting averages could always improve, these three players have been blasting the ball for the White Sox. If the Sox can use these guys as role models for newer, younger guys, then this rebuild could go very positively.

On the other side of things, though, if the Sox decide to not focus on maintaining Anderson’s, Abreu’s, and Moncada’s level of play, things can and will fall apart extremely quickly; therefore, it would render this rebuild useless.

Rodón, with more playing time, could prove to be one of the go-to pitchers in a season or two for the White Sox. He is putting up strong numbers right now; he just does not get enough playing time, in my opinion, to show what he is truly capable of achieving.

The White Sox could be one in playoff contention in a season or two if they decide to focus on the big bats of their three best offensive players right now and the potential of their underplayed rising pitcher.
