Chicago White Sox: 4 key players during another rebuilding season
Shortstop: Tim Anderson
Tim Anderson is undoubtedly one of White Sox’s most valuable players. Anderson ranks second or third in hits (93), runs (54), and RBIs (43). Anderson leads the team in stolen bases with 21 so far in the season, with Adam Engel in second place with a mere 12 stolen bases.
Anderson is batting .241 currently, which could use some work; however, when he does get on base, he does some serious damage as he finishes in the top three in most of the offensive stats for the White Sox.

It is essential for the Southside to have speed in their roster, and Anderson does just that. If the Sox can get Anderson to raise his batting average and on-base percentage, it’s likely that his runs, stolen bases, hits, and RBIs would all skyrocket — making him into a superstar player.
Not only is Anderson a smart base runner and key offensive player, he doubles as a strong defensive player for the White Sox, too. Anderson leads the team in total assists with 265 assists. He is a solid shortstop for the White Sox.
The White Sox need to keep focusing on Anderson throughout this rebuild stage because he could become a force to be reckoned with on both sides of the field.
