Chicago Bears: 5 bold predictions going into training camp
Bold prediction number one: Kevin White responds well to the pressure
The Bears fan base is in awe of the revamped wide receiver group that Ryan Pace put together this offseason. The Bears went out and got the best player in free agency at that position in Allen Robinson. They also followed that up with speedster Taylor Gabriel and 2nd-round pick Anthony Miller.
Additionally, they attempted to upgrade the bottom half of the roster with 7th-round pick Javon Wims and free agents Bennie Fowler and Marlon Brown. However, one guy that isn’t getting the mention, but is quietly having a really good offseason is former 2015 1st-round pick, Kevin White.
The assumption is that the top three wide receivers are going to be Robinson, Gabriel, and Miller. However, reports came out from the OTA’s and mini-camp that White looked impressive. It also helps that Trubisky has a lot of confidence in him.

Even with the new additions, White arguably still has the most upside of any wide receiver on the depth chart. White’s downfield speed and size make him a problem for defensive backs. If his route running is improved, don’t be surprised if he’s the wideout starting opposite of Robinson.
