The first half of the 2018 season has been miserable for the Chicago White Sox and their fans as the team is currently on pace for over 100 losses. But despite the losing, there are still reasons to be hopeful about the future as a White Sox fan.
As the All-Star game approaches in the next few weeks, most Chicago White Sox fans are just focused on which of their prospects will be called up for the second half of the season. And rightfully so.

The product on the field has been rough to watch, but they have played better baseball (8-9 in the month of June) as of late.
Couple this with the fact that more help will be on the way after the break and Chicago White Sox fans may actually have something to look forward to.
Of course, there won’t be any miraculous playoff runs in this scenario. White Sox fans shouldn’t hold out any hope for that. But if this team can close out the year on a strong note, maybe it won’t be crazy to think they could compete sooner rather than later.
