Reason no. 3: Star Power

In order to succeed in the NBA, you need (at least) one superstar. As of pre-free agency, the Bulls lack any sort of a star player.

As the previous two slides show, Young put up superstar-caliber stats in a difficult situation at Oklahoma.

Young carried a team that finished in last place the previous season to a 10-seed in the NCAA tournament, and one time top-10 national ranking.

Young is a player that shines when the lights are brightest. He has all the makings of flourishing in a big, basketball-rich city like Chicago. Young’s demeanor, swagger and production make him the perfect fit to be the core of the Chicago Bulls.

While on the topic of Chicago, it makes sense the mention the current, and former state of the Bulls. Bulls fans are used to winning, from the Michael Jordan days to the Rose days, Bulls fans are accustomed to cheering for a winning team.
