Chicago Bulls: Every reason to draft Trae Young
The 2018 NBA Draft is just one week away, and its still a complete toss up as to who the Chicago Bulls will pick with the seventh-overall pick. Here is every reason why that pick should be Trae Young.
Am I high on Trae Young?
To put it lightly, yes.
Not only do I think Young is the best possible pick for the Chicago Bulls (and we’ll get to that later), but I believe that Young has the potential to be top name from this draft class by the time it’s all said and done.

That’s not a knock against anyone else in the draft. I just really, truly believe that Young has superstar potential, and that if given the right situation and system, Young can tap that potential and be a franchise player for several years in the NBA.
Hopefully that team will be the Bulls. The Bulls haven’t had a franchise point guard since Derrick Rose‘s glory years, and current have a serious lack of star power, even for a rebuilding team.
Are there other holes for the Bulls to fill? Of course. The Bulls could, and probably should, go with a forward such as Michael Porter Jr., or could just decide to go with the best player available, depending on who they believe fits that label.
While there typically aren’t ever any surefire mock picks until a few days up to the draft, the Bulls have been rumored to take several different players, ranging from Mo Bamba, Porter, Young or Kevin Knox.
We’ll find out who the newest member of the Chicago Bulls is on June 21st, but until then, here is every reason why the Bulls should select Oklahoma point guard Trae Young.
