Chicago Bears should consider these still-available free agents

4. Wide Receiver Dontrelle Inman
Last year, the Bears completed a trade with the Los Angeles Chargers to bring in veteran wide receiver Dontrelle Inman in exchange for a 7th-round pick. Because the terms of the deal required Inman to amass 25 total catches and Inman only caught 23, the Bears kept the conditional draft pick which wound up being Georgia wideout Javon Wims.
Although it seemed like Inman was expendable at the beginning of the offseason, now would be the best time to bring him back. The receiver position could not use enough competition, at this point, after seeing it in shambles for a while.
Inman seemed to mesh well with Mitchell Trubisky last year and made his fair share of impressive catches after coming to Chicago. It would make a lot of sense to bring him back, at this point, especially with there being a couple of guys coming off injuries.

Kevin White is obviously the most notable injury situation after missing nearly all of the first three years of his career due to injury. The newly-signed Allen Robinson is also coming off an ACL tear, so purely out of keeping backup plans intact, Inman should be brought back. Wims might be the only other guy who possesses enough size to become that big target in the future, but for now, the Bears just need depth.
