With some solid players still unemployed, it’s time the Chicago Bears make a move for one or two of these five free agents.

The Chicago Bears are gearing up for a brand new edition of training camp in about a month or so. Players have roughly a month off and then it is back to the grind, but this time will be different. This time there are more new faces than we’ve seen in Bourbonnais in quite some time.

New head coach Matt Nagy has breathed new life into the franchise, instilling a positive culture and guaranteeing he is committed to helping each and every one of his players succeed to the best of their ability. Along they way, he has brought several fresh faces with him, revamping nearly the entire coaching staff for an entirely different feel.

By now, the majority of the roster is set going into training camp. Now, the only major question is, who makes the final cut? While most of the training camp roster is set, the Bears have to be keeping their eyes on a few select players who remain unsigned.

Injuries happen. Holes sometimes appear out of thin air after thinking a position was shored up. Football is unpredictable, and having a backup plan is always necessary. For the Bears, there are a few areas in which they could use a little boost in competition. Here are five currently available players the team should have their eyes on as they may look to fill in the cracks from now until the beginning of the season.
