6. Guard/Forward Michael Porter Jr., Missouri

We have come to the mecca of Bulls pre-draft conversation. I have not met one Bulls fan who is completely against drafting Michael Porter Jr. out of Mizzou. But, all of them understand that drafting Porter comes with risk.

Most people know by now that Porter only played a few games in his lone college season after needing back surgery early on. His health is really the only big question going forward. If he can prove to stay on the court, Porter has arguably the highest ceiling in the draft.

Porter can score in so many ways, you’ll lose track if I list them all. He has the potential to be a surefire number one option in the NBA. His offensive arsenal contains a lot, and most of it is related to his ridiculous athletic ability. His jumper is beautiful. His attack on the basket is a thing of beauty. Porter truly is the definition of high-risk/high-reward.

But, the potential reward could be oh-so tantalizing to pass up. At the moment, Porter’s stock has risen a bit. He had always been pegged as a top-10, even a top-8 guy, but now there are some rumors out there saying that the Bulls would have to move up in order to get him.

Would he be worth the move? We’ll have to wait and find out.
