12. Center Robert Williams, Texas A&M

We now begin the wishing, praying and hoping segment of previewing the top available players at pick no. 22. Center Robert Williams will likely go inside the top-20, and even as high as a top-15 pick. But, due to all of the shuffling in terms of draft stock, hype and potential in other prospects, it wouldn’t be insane to think Williams fell to the Bulls at no. 22.

Heck, maybe the Bulls pull off a trade to move up a little bit and grab Williams if they still need to address the center position at that point.

Yes, that is a center throwing down a windmill dunk.

The crazy part about Williams is that he is listed around 6-foot-9, with some outlets listing him at 6-foot-10. Regardless, that’s somewhat short to play the center position. The reason it works so well for Williams is due to his athleticism.

Williams loves to spend most of his time around the rim and is a highly-skilled rebounder and shot-blocker. Most scouting reports have him being limited to inside of 10 feet, offensively, but if the Bulls have enough shooters, that wouldn’t be a problem.

The best comparison I have seen for Williams, thus far, is once again via Sports Illustrated. They compare him to Clint Capela, whom I would love for the Bulls to somehow land via free agency. But, if they are able to weasel their way into Williams instead, I would be thrilled.
