Chicago Bulls big board for 2018 NBA Draft
By Ryan Heckman
With the 2018 NBA Draft rapidly approaching and so many rumors swirling, it’s time we look at more of a final version of the Chicago Bulls’ big board.
The 2018 NBA Draft is almost upon us, Chicago Bulls fans! I think at this point, we have all put the bummer of lottery night behind us and are just plain excited for draft night. If you’re like me, you’re ready for it. You’ve been waiting for what seems like forever at this point, and it can’t get here soon enough.
The Bulls have two first-round picks, which should provide us all with a bit more excitement this year. Selecting at no. 7 and no. 22 overall, the Bulls have a shot to get both a potentially franchise-changing player as well as a potential role player for years to come — if not more.
As we approach the draft, I wanted to give fans an idea of just what the Bulls’ big board could look like. Who do they value more than others? Is there a certain position that finds itself more prevalent than others?
Before I dive into the top 20 players on our big board for the Bulls, I will give a bit of a preface to how it came about. Players 11-through-20 are options the Bulls could snag at no. 22 overall in the first round, with the top couple of guys being some that would have to fall a bit in order to see them in Chicago.
After the 11th spot, consider it a bit of a break, with a few players who will go unmentioned, simply because of the lesser likelihood of them being there at no. 22. Players 1-through-10 are essentially the top 10 overall prospects for the Bulls, with the top couple of prospects being ones who would also have to fall to no. 7.
