Chris Paul, Unrestricted Free Agent

About a week ago, a report came out that the Bulls may in fact be bigger players in free agency than most had thought coming into the summer. So, just how big of players could they be? That’s the question.

While it may seem incredibly farfetched, Chris Paul is unrestricted this summer and the Bulls could choose to pursue him. Would Paul want to play in Chicago? I’d give the chances of that happening slim to none, but it wouldn’t hurt to at least request a meeting.

The Houston Rockets are reportedly one of the teams interested in LeBron James this summer. It seems like it will come down to them, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers, based on all recent rumors.

If that’s the case, do the Rockets say goodbye to Clint Capela? Having to choose between Paul and Capela may be the decision it comes down to, since the big man is likely to be paid this summer. The Rockets probably wouldn’t be able to afford to pay James, Paul, Capela as well as James Harden.

So, why not shoot for the stars? Paul could be on the move. If I’m John Paxson, I am going to do my due diligence and at least give it a shot.
