Chicago Bulls: 3 players who could be traded this summer
By Ryan Heckman
Guard/Forward Justin Holiday
Like Lopez, Justin Holiday was one of the veteran players who suffered in playing time during the Bulls’ attempt to tank the season away before getting warned by commissioner Adam Silver.
If the Bulls bring back David Nwaba and plan on a future that includes Denzel Valentine and Paul Zipser, the writing may already be on the wall for Holiday. Moreover, Chicago could end up adding a rookie like Porter. Add in the fact that Zach LaVine is most likely going to be in Chicago for a while and Holiday might be an odd man out.
As one of our FanSided colleagues pointed out during the season, Holiday was one of the guys the Bulls were expected to throw into additional trades following the Nikola Mirotic deal.
The interesting thing about Holiday, at least from my point of view, is that he is a better overall player than Valentine. I think it would be smarter to try and deal Valentine, especially because he’s five years younger and half the price at the moment — teams might appreciate those facts if Valentine truly wasn’t in the future plans of the franchise.

Right now, though, it looks like the front office likes guys like Valentine and Cameron Payne. Whether or not that’s the right perspective is up for serious debate. Regardless, Holiday might be a guy on the move in the coming days.
