3 reasons the Chicago Bulls should trade for Karl-Anthony Towns

LaVine stays in Chicago
Look, we already know LaVine wants to stay with the Bulls. But, sometimes, things have a way of coming undone. LaVine says that now, but what happens when another team offers more money than the Bulls would potentially offer? What happens if LaVine has the potential to win elsewhere?
There is a lot at stake here, and the Bulls want to ensure LaVine stays. One way to make that happen would be to bring his old pal to Chicago. Imagine reuniting the old crew, only now Kris Dunn is a more developed (still a bit raw) point guard who at least has a little chemistry with Towns.
LaVine is a perfect number two option on just about any team. He’s just not a number one guy. Towns can be that for the Bulls, and I’m sure LaVine would be just fine seeing the big man demand some attention so he has a chance to get a few buckets as well.

I would bet that, outside of offering LaVine a max contract, bringing Towns to Chicago would be the best way to keep him on the Bulls. See for yourself in the above tweets — he’s already interested.
Also, for the record, I am 100 percent against a max contract for LaVine. But, that’s a debate for later.
