Safeties

Adrian Amos

As one of the top overall graded players in all of football last year, via Pro Football Focus, Adrian Amos is locked and loaded at the strong safety position. Many have looked past him at times and haven’t been as impressed by his play, but I don’t know what they’re watching. Amos is the real deal and should be given a ton more credit than he has gotten. He gives the Bears part one of a tandem that should be very, very good for many years to come.

Eddie Jackson

Complimenting Amos at the free safety position is Eddie Jackson, entering his second season in the NFL. Jackson is a ball hawk who has a knack for making the big play when it counts. As a former fourth-round pick, Jackson has already proved his general manager can continue to find later round gems.

Deon Bush

Another former fourth-round selection, Deon Bush adds depth to the safety group as one of the harder hitters on the team. The former Miami product is entering his third year in the league.

Deiondre’ Hall

The fourth safety kept by the Bears will be Deiondre’ Hall, another fourth rounder who joined Bush in the class of 2016. Hall, a standout at Northern Iowa, adds more value on special teams, but could step up in a pinch if needed. He’ll be a valuable depth piece.
