We take a look at an early roster prediction for the Chicago Bears, following free agency, the 2018 NFL Draft and rookie/veteran minicamps.

Now that the big-time events are over with and the Chicago Bears have a rough idea of what their 90-man roster looks like, the real work begins. The players now know what they have to do in order to get ready for the season and training camp will be here before you know it.

Ryan Pace and his staff did a phenomenal job over the course of the last few months. The organization clearly had a plan, led by Pace, and the man did nothing short of executing it perfectly.

Following the 2018 NFL Draft and free agency period, the Bears are now in a much better place than they were a year ago — and people are taking notice. If you look around the sports media world, the Bears are one of the hot teams to watch. Experts from everywhere, including NFL Network and CBS Sports, love what the Bears did this spring and are picking them to exceed expectations in 2018.

There is a lot to like about the new-and-improved Bears of 2018, so I don’t blame all of these experts suddenly picking them as the trendy team going into the summer months. For us fans, though, we are concerned about much deeper issues than being a trendy topic among the NFL world.

One of the concerns we have as fans, is who will make the final roster. I take my first crack at breaking down the 53 men who I think will end up on the final roster come fall.
